Mr. Shurtleff considers his week at camp as the highlight of his year and looks at it as an incredible learning experience for all who attend. He has observed the positive impact the camp program has had on camp attendees over the year for both counselors and staff. In addition to the classes, campers and staff have a chance to visit historic places like Lexington Battle Green and the Concord Bridge. "We not only teach them about our nation's history," commented Mr. Shurtleff, "we take them on location, to some of the places where it actually happened."
